Brought to you from the conceptual design capital of Stockholm, Sweden, Monokel design handcrafted statement sunglasses, whilst keeping true to their heritage of Scandinavian simplicity. With quality materials in line the best on the market and designs that frame the face perfectly all while nailing the style factor, Monokel are the ones to watch right now.
Stainless steel hinges and Teflon covered hinge screws; all Monokel sunglasses are handcrafted using the finest quality premium acetate (the same acetate as RayBan use, but Monokel retail at half the price). With optics provided by Carl Zeiss Vision lenses, which are 100% UV protective, these glasses are all Unisex fit and come with a leather case, packaged in their signature cardboard box.
The founders behind the label, Freddie and Rob, are both professional snowboarders and filmmakers – not necessarily a traditional background for now profound eyewear designers, yet it seems to have worked to their advantage as the Monokel following started through the skate, BMX and snowboard community. Since then Monokel has spread across Europe, with every single detail thought through to the n'th degree - from the hinges at the arm, to the way the box ever so gently closes.
