The Swedish bag brand, Sandqvist was founded in 2004 by Anton Sandqvist together with his brother, Daniel and their childhood friend Sebastian. They are the soul behind the brand; a childhood spent outdoors in rural Sweden has profoundly influenced Sandqvist's designs. Having spent their childhood very close to nature, picking mushrooms, wild berries, canoeing, skiing, hiking and even shelter building, it meant that their love of Scandinavian nature bleeds into Sandqvist designs today.

 

The original founder, Anton Sandqvist was a mechanical engineer for a multi corporation business. Bored of the corporate routine life, he dipped into creative projects, consisting of building furniture and stitching bags. That is where the brand Sandqvist began.

 

The brand combines simplistic design and style with an equal dose of functionality and durability, which are then transformed into bags and accessories.
