It's that time of year again; LC:M is just around the corner and with AW16 kicking off this Friday the buzz is certainly in the air. London Collections: Men, for those that don't know, is the men's equivalent of London Fashion Week. London is the global home of menswear, evolving from the great heritage of Savile Row tailors to the home-grown talent and international super-brands. According to Caroline Rush, CEO of the BFC, “The global menswear market is now worth $440bn (£298bn) as men are spending more than ever on clothing and footwear.” With a menswear market that is growning annually it is no surprise the bi-anual event is expanding.  

To fill you in on the basics;

• David Gandy (super model and street style god) is normally front row, alongside Dylan Jones (GQ editor\LC:M chairman) and Tinie Tempah.

• As well as celebs and stars, there's the cars. Lining the streets outside the show rooms; from The Gandyman's vintage MG to the Mercedes with ballsy interiors, Lambo's and growling Ferrari's.

• The aim of the game is to get on the 'frow' (front row seats) or be papped walking down the middle of an empty street in your 'street style' (amidst avoiding on coming traffic).

• Everyone counts down each show to the finale tune, it better be a banger or may face tumbling down the ranks in show hierarchy. 

• Look forward to the after parties; where all niceties and regs go out the window (dry January was hard enough for 8 days anyway).
